Justice League Day Arrives in Theaters, Stores 11/18

Justice League season starts earlier every year...

Barely a three days after Halloween, DC Entertainment announced that November 18th would be the official “Justice League Day” with events around the world to celebrate the release of the film.

As part of the opening weekend festivities for the movie, comic shops, theaters, Six Flags parks, and online comics retailers will be holding a variety of parties, sales, and other fun festivities. A special reprint of Justice League#1, the Geoff Johns/Jim Lee comic that kicked off the New 52 in 2011, will be available at participating sites. The issue will have a new cover by Ivan Reis that reflects the looks in the film. Participating IMAX and AMC theaters will also be handing out special edition reprints of Justice League#15, the first issue of the “Throne of Atlantis” storyline by Johns and Reis.

Online comic sellers like ComiXology will be running sales on digital Justice League comics all week, meaning you can probably take our Grant Morrison Superman hatchet order out for a swing for a small investment. And finally, DC has put out a Justice League Day Activity Kit for you to get ready for events at your comic shop ahead of time.
