Gillian Anderson auctions off X-Files goodies

Here’s one for the dedicated X-Files fan. Dana Scully herself, Gillian Anderson, is selling off a collection of items that she’s accrued during her time on the show. And no Sotheby’s here. Instead, over 500 rare and limited X-Files goodies will be heading to eBay from 17th July (that's today!), with all of the proceeds going to charity.

Anderson returns to the role that made her famous in the upcoming movie sequel, The X-Files: I Want To Believe, that hits UK cinemas from 1st August. Maybe by the time the third film rolls around, she'll be back on eBay to sell props from the second one?
