Two new dramas and one new comedy coming to CBS...

CBS has announced Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, co-creators of Homeland, and writer Alex Cary will be creating a new drama series entitled Anatomy of Violence for the network.  The network will also pick up a new drama from North Country creator Michael Seitzman which will be named Intelligence.

Anatomy of Violence is inspired by an upcoming non-fiction novel, The Anatomy of Violence: The Biological Roots of Crime.  The hourlong drama will center around a criminal psychologist that has an expertise in sociopaths partners with an old female fling.

CBS will also pilot a new comedy series entitled Crazy Ones from funnyman Robin Williams (Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams) and David E. Kelley.  Crazy Ones will bring Robin Williams back to the small screen nearly 30 years after he starred in Mork & Mindy for ABC.  The comedy will be a single-camera half hour show about a father-daughter relationship at home and at work.

Intelligence, the second drama CBS is piloting, will delve into a U.S. Cyber-Command unit created around an agent with a microchip implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.  This sounds a little bit similar to Continuum's episode 7 of season one, doesn' t it?
