X-Men: Apocalypse was a movie that had a whole lot to do, not least of which was giving a satisfying conclusion to what is being called the "X-Men: First Class Trilogy" while introducing the fan favorite titular villain, plus a whole new cast of young faces to carry the franchise forward.
Thus there is a lot that went into the making of the mutant opus, and now we know exactly when you'll get the Blu-ray that spells out how it happened with its loaded special features!
As first announced by EW, the X-Men: Apocalypse Blu-ray, as well as its DVD and 4K Ultra HD disc, will go on sale on Oct. 4. However, if you cannot wait that long, it will also be available for download on Digital HD on Sept. 9.
Special features will include:
-Deleted and extended scenes with optional introductions by director Bryan Singer
-A gag reel
-A wrap party video
-Audio commentary by Singer and screenwriter Simon Kinberg
-A behind-the-scenes documentary
-A photo gallery
