We’re two months away now from the release of Captain America: Civil War, and directors Joe and Anthony Russo are just starting to hint at the ramifications of the movie.
Joe Russo said, "The consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than Captain America: The Winter Soldier]. In Civil War, we’re going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s psychology, and it’s an extreme shift."
He also reiterated, “Winter Soldier was a political thriller; this is a psychological thriller."
The line that will make most people’s ears prick up though is from Anthony Russo, where he says that the film will have a “very dramatic ending that will be controversial for a lot of people." Make of that what you will.
Captain America: Civil War arrives on May 6. If you have any ideas on what the Russos are talking about...keep them to yourself.
