Prison Break star and screenwriter Wentworth Miller will guest star in The Flash as a supervillain...

Wentworth Miller, the actor who made his name as heavily tattooed structural engineer Michael Schofield in Prison Break and then went on to make a bit more of his name by writing an acclaimed screenplay for Chan-wook Park's Stoker, is to guest star in The CW's The Flash.

Miller is to play the role of Leonard Snart, familiar to comic book fans as the petty criminal who accidentally pimped his gun into a freeze-ray and became the nefarious Captain Cold. Despite having a name that makes him sound like a lemon-based lozenge designed to relieve kids' sore throats, Captain Cold is actually a pretty nasty customer. The leader of The Rogues, he's guaranteed to make life difficult for Central City's Flash.

Snart will first appear in episode four of The Flash, which kicks off on The CW on the 7th of October.
