Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Star Wars: The Clone Wars will definitely be returning for a fifth season, it's been revealed...

Dave Filoni, supervising director of the animated Star Wars spin-off The Clone Wars, has confirmed that a fifth season will be coming our way.

Through Facebook, Filoni was discussing the return of Death Watch, a rather nasty splinter group of Mandalorian warriors, to the award-winning show's most recent episode. The Mandalorians first appeared in The Clone Wars back in season two  (Boba Fett wore Mandalorian armour, in case you didn't know). He told fans:

"I hope you all enjoy the episode tonight. I think the Death Watch has gotten significantly cooler, and we are going to build on that next season."

In an audacious piece of casting, Battlestar Gallactica's Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck) voices the deadly Bo-Katan in the aforementioned episode, A Friend In Need, which aired in the US on Friday. Filoni also explained that her character will return in the next season adding that a preview of what's to come will be shown at Celebration VI (the official Star Wars convention) in August.

Currently, there are no broadcast details for The Clone Wars season four in the UK after Sky Movies dropped it earlier this year.

season 4 is interesting

Well hooked watched most of season 4 on cartoon network until they messed with the listings so had to catch the last 6 on YouTube

what about DARTH MAUL!

Ok, indeed this is a TV show for young Star Wars fans and as adults we find some episodes very childish, for example all these political "Padme in action" episodes along with the C3PO/R2D2 and the Jar Jar episodes are really boring and poor.

ON THE OTHER HAND, there are episodes that are really EPIC. The Liberty of Ryloth trilogy, the attack on Geonossis, the lethal trackdown where Plo Koon shows us he is a tough badass jedi, the Nightsisters, the episodes with Tarkin in that Citadel, the return of DARTH MAUL! These are great episodes that dedicated Star Wars fans of all ages would enjoy.

Love it! Whole world must stop when on tv...

Well I disagree those episodes were okay but I think the " undercover obiwan" was weird

Does anybody think that ahsoka tano will run away with lux bonteri and fall in love at the end of season five?

Omg so excited for season five;) can't wait! The trailer was the best one yet! And so epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iv seen all

when is the actual date that it comes out its so amazing

It's possible.. As the cartoon still has to have some relevance to the films and well we never hear of anakin having a Palawan in the films so it's possible she ran away, I doubt he would have killed her or allowed her to be killed when he became darth vader

Anybody have ideas of ahsokas fate? I curious to see what u guys think
