US fans will be able to see the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, on streaming service Netflix...

In all the fuss surrounding new animated series Star Wars Rebels, the matter of the final season of The Clone Wars has fallen to the wayside to some extent. Enter the current patron saint of TV that's fallen to the wayside: Netflix.

When Disney cancelled The Clone Wars, production was already underway on season six. Fans had been assured that the episodes would be made available in some form in the future, but until now, no news has been forthcoming. Now the US and Canadian branch of Netflix has announced that it's bought the rights to the entire back catalogue of The Clone Wars, including the thirteen unaired season six episodes (going by the nickname, The Lost Missions).

We'll bring you exact dates as soon as they're confirmed, but in the meantime, US and Canadian Netflix subscribers can rest assured that they'll be given closure on at least one of the casualties of the Disney takeover.

Dates are confirmed- march 7th I think, it's in the Press release :)

This will be a day long remembered. It has seen the
end of buying this stuff on DVD for my kids; it will soon see the end of them pestering me to buy the rest of
the seasons too.

Luckely the makers seems to have given this final episodes some love and will give the series proper closure.

Will Netflix be showing the first seasons of Clone Wars?

Netflix UK or Netflix USA? I'm guessing it'll probably US ax they have everything and we poor Europeans get a slimmed down version...
