Brian Warner, aka singer Marilyn Manson, will have a recurring role in Sons Of Anarchy season 7...

In a move that hopefully won't echo that time they made Bon Jovi play a plumber in Ally MacBeal, singer Marilyn Manson has joined Sons Of Anarchy for a recurring role in its seventh and probably final season.

Manson, aka Brian Warner, will be joining the beautiful people of Samcro in the role of Ron Tully (no relation to Caitlin, we assume), "a white supremacist prison shot-caller whom Jax uses to expand his power base".

Manson, whose recent on-screen appearances have included a part in Eastbound & Down, a voice role in Once Upon A Time, and not forgetting that time he popped up in then-girlfriend Rose McGowan's highschool teen movie Jawbreaker, has declared himself a huge fan of the Kurt Sutter drama. "Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s," he said, "so I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.” Not if your character's in prison, you won't, Mr Manson.

Sons Of Anarchy is due to return to FX in late September.
