Jason Alexander joins Jerry Seinfeld for a special Superbowl episode of web series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee...

As part of yesterday's stateside Superbowl festivities, Jerry Seinfeld unveiled the results of the new script on which he and Larry David recently collaborated.

An episode of Seinfeld's Crackle web series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee (exactly as it sounds), The Over-Cheer featured Jason Alexander in character as George Costanza, Seinfeld's fellow in-car, coffee-getting comedian.

You can watch the whole six-minute video over at Crackle, and enjoy a wee portal back to the nineties in the process. Once Seinfeld has finished telling you about his car of choice for the episode, enter George Costanza and a cameo from another Seinfeld recurring character (before you ask, it's not Elaine or Kramer. Sorry).

If that wasn't enough to scratch your Seinfeld itch, then it's worth revisiting season seven of Curb Your Enthusiasm for a more complete cast reunion.

Is this like Robert Llewellyn's Carpool series?

Llewellyn was quite a gentleman over the whole thing and even invited Jerry to appear on his show.

That hasn't happened, but if it ever did he should rig up his car with a fake left hand seat steering wheel. They can both get in the car thinking they are the interviewer in the driving seat.
