New exorcism drama from creator of The Walking Dead

Robert Kirkman, the creator of the The Walking Dead comic series and executive producer of its TV adaptation, is developing a new drama that centres on demonic possession.
Outcast, for which Kirkman has already written a pilot script, is about a character named Kyle Barnes, who “has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it”.
The televsion project has been picked up by Cinemax, the network that also produces Banshee, and will be accompanied by a new graphic novel of the same name.
All this will make Kirkman a busy man, The Walking Dead has had a wildly successful start to its fourth season, trouncing its own viewing figure record and has recently been renewed for a fifth.
