Jaimie Alexander is popping in to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Norse Goddess Sif...

On the 11th of March (in the US - over here in the UK we're still waiting for the show to return from its Christmas holiday), Jaimie Alexander will be making an appearance in Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. in an episode titled Yes Man.

The actress behind Norse Goddess Lady Sif in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, Alexander will be popping up in the fifteenth episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. "on a hunting mission - sent by Odin - to find her arch-enemy Lorelei and bring her back to Asgard".

Executive producer Jed Whedon explained, "We always have our radar up for ways to tie our series into the Marvel films and bringing in an Asgardian really cements that connection [...] It throws our agents for a loop when they find themselves in a fight right alongside this powerful woman from Thor's world."

Here's a first look at Sif in the episode, standing dangerously close to Lola...

Can't help but look at this and think Warner Bros have missed a trick. She would make a perfect Wonder Woman.

Can't wait to see Sif in Agents. and not just because Jaimie Alexander makes me feel funny in my tummy.

(spoiler space for Thor 2)

So, she's been sent by Odin......but isn't Odin actually Loki these days?

Yes... sent by... 'Odin'....

"Sent by Odin" so Loki, unless if she makes a detour to Tahiti first where the real Odin might reside if we are to believe the clearly joking Anthony Hopkins.
Surprise guest appearance of Tom Hiddleston? He said to be up for it.

Yep, they really did, but it's just a cameo (probably). Marvel recasted Rhody/Warmachine, so why should DC not do that with Wonder Woman when she really gets the spotlight?

This sets the plot for Thor 3 with Lorelei & the Executioner being the villains.

a month long break this time......omg.
