All four of Netflix's original Marvel TV shows, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, will be filmed in New York City...

This should please sticklers for detail (which, if I've read the name at the top of this site correctly, is pretty much all of us). Marvel's Hell's Kitchen Heroes series are to be filmed in the city in which they're set, New York.

Marvel has announced that all four forthcoming live-action series, nearly sixty hours of television to be released on streaming service Netflix, will be produced in New York. The Hells Kitchen series runs to thirteen episodes apiece on Marvel characters Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.

It's news that's gone down well with the Governor of New York,Andrew Cuomo, who praised the decision in the official press blurb saying, "These shows bring New York’s superheroes home where they belong – along with hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars in new business."

We'll bring you casting news and more as soon as it arrives.

What I still want to know is when these shows will be released on Netflix, 2015 or 2016 and all at once or one per month or something? And how and when does the series take place in the MCU? Assuming they will be part of the MCU.

Why, why is everything set in NEW YORK, it's getting old. Remember the days when TV shows were set in different locations.

Very likely. Really the likes of Power Man and Iron Fist should have been automatically teamed up like they were in the original comics. I wonder how each show will stand out; certainly the budget constraints expected with a Netflix series will mean fewer epic battles.
