Four new Marvel TV series being lined up
Marvel is reportedly working on four new drama series and a new miniseries, following the success of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The success of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. looks set to have ramifications for the TV landscape over the coming years. Notwithstanding the fact that DC is getting in on the action with a television series set around the work of Gotham City's Jim Gordon, Marvel itself is now reported to be putting together four new drama series and one miniseries.
The package will cover around 60 episodes, and according to reports, Marvel is shopping them around the likes of Netflix and Amazon as possible homes.
This is all being kept under wraps, so the identity of just what those four series and one miniseries are is a mystery. It's a fair bet that one of them may be the rumoured Agent Peggy Carter spin-off series, but that may have a more logical home at ABC, which has just taken on a full season order for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D..
There's no on-the-record or official word about the projects yet, but as we find out more, we'll let you know...
