Limitless TV series in development
Neil Burger's 2011 sci-fi inflected action thriller Limitless is being developed into a television series...
With the small screen version of 2010's Catfish going great guns on MTV, and a television adaptation for macho flag-salutin' feature Act of Valor in the works, Relativity is finding some success in expanding its film projects into TV series.
Next up for the studio is a small screen take on Neil Burger's 2011 action thriller Limitless, starring Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish, Anna Friel, and Robert De Niro. The original film saw Cooper's character, an unsuccessful writer, become a kind of ubermensch after taking a smart drug that allowed him to access previously dormant nooks and crannies in his brain. Complications, as you'd imagine, ensued.
The story is set to be stretched into a TV property, with Bradley Cooper executive producing alongside the film's original producers. There's no word as yet on casting, but we'll keep you posted.
