Fancy seeing the first trailer for forthcoming zombie drama In The Flesh? Then step this way...

Taking the perspective of the undead (or, in this case, Partially Diseased Syndrome sufferer) is a refreshing slant on the zombie genre, and that's just the tack taken by forthcoming three-part BBC drama In the Flesh.

Written by Dominic Mitchell and directed by Jonny Campbell, In the Flesh tells the story of Kieren, a medicated zombie in a post-uprising world tasked with reintegrating into his family and a village populated by prejudice and old hurts.

We'll bring you a spoiler-free episode one review later this week, but in the meantime, take a look at the first trailer below, and our introduction to the series, here.

In the Flesh is expected to debut on BBC Three on Sunday the 17th of March.

When does this debut on BBC 3? Might be a good antitode to the current fudging of TWD.

I would imagine it'll take the Being Human Slot in a couple of weeks.

"Guidance: Some upsetting scenes" - that's a bit underwhelming, I'd hope for lots of upsetting scenes given that it's about zombies. Will there be no eating of brains then?

I'm still wondering why the Beeb swapped this for The Fades. Wasn't that a zombie drama?
