Hannibal season 2 start date & new poster

Poster Louisa Mellor 19 Dec 2013 - 22:24

The second season of NBC's Hannibal starts on Friday the 28th of February in the US...

Showrunner Bryan Fuller has made no secret of his hopes for multiple seasons of Hannibal that will take Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter through the - as Fuller terms it - 'bromance', past 'the ugly break-up', and, in a potential season four, into the events of Thomas Harris' Red Dragon. The plan is gradually coming to fruition, as the second season of NBC's psychological horror is readied for broadcast this coming February.

Moving to a Friday night slot, Hannibal season two is to begin on NBC on the 28th of February, taking over from Dracula's current position. Take a look at the latest poster, featuring Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, below:

This show was my favourite last year. I can't wait for season 2!

Really was surprised by the first season and really hope this series is one of those that only gets better with each season.

That poster is gorgeous can't wait for season 2

Loved the first season, can't wait, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there's a network that airs it in the UK, as I don't see NBC anywhere on my TV guide (only watched this season late on the internet and would like to contribute to ratings.)

Sky Living show it, it started about a month after the US premier last year.

Excellent. Very pleasantly surprised by series 1. I don't know what I was expecting, maybe a bit sanitised and light coming from NBC and possibly Hopkin's shadow threatening to overwhelm it from the off but it blew away those notions.

Kudos to the network for sticking with it. Should say that it took a
while to adapt to Mads' take on the role but that final scene of
"Savoureux" (helped with the lovely lift from Hans Zimmer's "Hannibal"
score) nailed it for me.

On an related matter....presumably some expanding on the pre-capture incidents mentioned in "Red
Dragon" and "Silence of the Lambs" will occur this series, assuming
Lecter will be caught in the 3rd series so he can be incarcerated by the planned 4th series arc?

Best new show this year. Bring on Season 2

Thanks I'll be sure to keep an eye out then :)
