Thursday the 4th of April at 10pm is the diary appointment to make for NBC's Hannibal, a new series based on Thomas Harris' captivating novels, boasting a formidable cast (Mads Mikkelsen, Laurence Fishbourne, Hugh Dancy, and Gillian Anderson to name but a few).
The thriller takes in the early life of Mikkelsen's forensic psychiatrist, Dr Lecter, who is currently working with the FBI's Special Agent Graham (Dancy) to track down a cannibalistic serial killer (we know, what are the chances?).
You can see the first full trailer for Bryan Fuller's (Star Trek: Voyager, Pushing Daisies) thirteen episode season below, a minute-long clip that shows a ton of Dexter-ish potential.
