Grimm renewed for season 4

NBC has ordered another season of supernatural procedural Grimm...

There's little more satisfying in TV-land than watching a new show wobble in its first season, find its feet in its second, really start to come into its own in its third and then be renewed for a fourth. When shows aren't cut off before their prime, but allowed to unfurl and flourish, it's cause for celebration.

Hurrah then, for NBC's fourth season Grimm renewal. Twenty-two new episodes of the supernatural horror-tinged crime series from Buffy and Angel's David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf will be coming our way, continuing the story of Nick Burkhardt, Wesen-hunting hero cop.

The best news about the fourth season of Grimm is not that it means more Wesen, more fight scenes, more romance or more nefarious royal family plotting, but more of one thing and one thing only: Monroe and his knitwear. That Blutbad certainly can rock a cardigan.
