Game Of Thrones season 3 first teaser trailer

HBO has released more sparing promotional material for Game Of Thrones' third season. Granted, it's not much, but we'll take it...

With four and a half months to go until the arrival of Game Of Thrones' third season (based on the first half of George R.R Martin's A Storm Of Swords), HBO can't afford to give too much away too quickly, which explains last week's sparingly designed first poster, and this minimalistic voiceover and text teaser vid.

The teaser features the voice of a woman (the smart money's on Tara Fitzgerald's Selyse Baratheon) declaring the words “The great war is between death and life, ice and fire. If we lose, the night will never end”. Sage stuff. Next time though, could we have a picture or two to go along with it do you think? Ta.

That was slightly underwhelming....I've not yet seen season 2, but I assumed that the voice over was Melisandre, rather than Selyse...but like I said I haven't seen S2.

Is the three swords thing a reference to season 3 or the fact that a lot of this season should take place around The Trident?

WTF!? 15 seconds of nothing.

Someone watched the opening to Lord of the Rings : FotR recently didn't they...

Nah, Melisandre has a more Germanic-y, European-ish accent, where as this one is clearly English.

I love GoT, but that was a waste of time.

I thought it was Brienne and they usually bash out a teaser trailer before a few regulars, last time was Mel' saying "The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors." Got to say the "Cold Winds are Rising" is my favourite trailer. Stannis's badassery won me over.

It seems to me like its Catelyn?
