First trailer for From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series

Trailer Louisa Mellor 13 Jan 2014 - 12:38

Robert Rodriguez has made a From Dusk Til Dawn TV series for his El Rey network, and here's the first trailer...

"You're the last line of defence between chaos and order"

Filling what was (presumably?) an urgent public need for a longer version of 1996's From Dusk Til Dawn chopped up into episode-sized chunks is Robert Rodriguez, whose TV version of the action horror debuts this March.

Subscribers to Rodriguez's own cable network, El Rey, will be able to see a new take on the film's George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino and Harvey Keitel roles, as well as Miami Vice's Don Johnson taking over from Michael Parks as Sheriff McGraw. See the first trailer below.

From Dusk Til Dawn starts on Rodriguez's El Rey network on the 11th of March.

If you're gonna do vamps, this is how you do it, but all these actors look like they've just walked off the set of a Vogue fashion shoot. Its all perfect teeth and model looks. It looks like bloody Hollyoakes.

Ha - 'bloody'. You did a funny :)

Don't really see the point of this - surely there's more to do about the whole mythology behind the film, rather than just rehash the film itself? They're certainly stretching it when they call it an original series.

It kinda ruins the twist, doesn't it. Next week, we'll have The Usual Suspects tv series, following devious main character Keyser Soze!

'You're the last line of defence between chaos and order'? What kind of story are they going to tell us? Because now it looks like another 'Supernatural'.

What a load of shite.

"Ya know... Sooner or later, they get around to raping one of YOUR favourite movies and then we'll see how YOU like it!"

such a great show
