Better Call Saul gets second series order, but also delays
There's good news and bad for those awaiting Better Call Saul, AMC's Breaking Bad spin-off...
Breaking Bad fans, prepare yourselves for some mixed emotions. The highly anticipated prequel series Better Call Saul has just had its second season confirmed by AMC, before the first has even been released.
As much as that’s brilliant news for fans of the original meth-selling drama who are eagerly awaiting some expansion of the world, the news comes with a sad twist too: the debut series, which centres around Bob Odenkirk’s criminal lawyer Saul Goodman (in his pre-Heisenberg days), now won’t reach our screens until ‘early 2015’.
Having previously been expected November this year, our thoughts go out to those who are awaiting the series in true Breaking Bad fashion – in a basement, restrained by a bike-lock.
Thankfully the fix will be fairly hefty when it does arrive - the first season will run for ten episodes, while the newly-announced second run will get a longer thirteen episode stint.
