Conducting research for Difficult Men: Behind the Scenes of a Creative Revolution, Brett Martin's portrait of the showrunners behind some of contemporary television's most lauded achievements (Mad Men, The Sopranos, NYPD Blue, Deadwood...), Martin was given access to a hallowed place: the Breaking Bad writers' room.
The pictures, some of which you can see below, not only revealed the working process behind season four, but unused storylines, reference materials, and probably the best plasticine sculpture of Danny Trejo's decapitated head atop a tortoise you'll see today...
