Werewolf drama Bitten renewed for season 2

Space has finally ordered a second season for Canadian werewolf drama, Bitten...

One of the dangling threads of this year's spate of TV renewals and cancellations can now be snipped off or tied in a bow, or whatever happens to dangling threads when they no longer dangle: Bitten is returning for season two.

The Canadian supernatural series comes adapted from the first book in Kelley Armstrong's Women Of The Otherworld series, and follows the story of Elena Michaels, the only known female werewolf in the world. Elena's singularity, as you'd imagine, causes her to be the focus of a great deal of attention in the werewolf community, and to get into a great deal of trouble.

The first thirteen-part season aired earlier this year, with Laura Vandervoort in the lead role. Described by the network as a "sexy, high-octane thriller", Bitten is currently Space's most-watched original series. We'll keep you posted with broadcast dates when they arrive.

Wonder what way season 2 will go? Will they follow the path of the books & introduce Paige, Savannah etc? Hope so. Although, that would mean a much reduced role for the guys in the pack.

Hopefully the writers take the length of time to decide on renewing it as a sign they need to step up their game.
I liked the show but didn't love it. Considering it's about werewolves I was expecting a little more action with teeth. I found some of the slow and dull with no grit at all.
I'll predict now that if the pace stays the same for season 2, there won't be a season 3.
