First poster for BBC adventure series Atlantis
Take a look at the first poster for BBC adventure series Atlantis, taking over from Merlin's Saturday teatime slot...
"The legend begins"
With a PR teaser campaign more labyrinthine and inventive than the prison of the minotaur itself, the BBC's forthcoming Saturday teatime family adventure drama Atlantis has steadily been encroaching on our consciousnesses. Courtesy of the @BBCAtlantis Twitter account, we've seen hints, riddles, and mystical symbols appear online to promote this autumn's premiere of the new series.
Now comes our first look at the stars in action, with this first Atlantis poster, featuring Robert Emms, Jack Donnelly, and Mark Addy doing what all good action heroes do and not looking back at an explosion. That in the background? That's a grumpy-looking minotaur, just one of the Greek myths Atlantis will be retelling on BBC One this autumn.
We'll bring you more on our set visit to Atlantis, including interviews with the cast, later on in the year.
Atlantis, from Misfits creator Howard Overman, is due to air this autumn on BBC One.
