The Killing actress joins Arrow season 2
Bex Taylor-Klaus has landed a recurring role in Arrow's second season, as a version of martial arts protege, Sin...
Most recognised so far for playing Bullet in AMC's The Killing, Bex Taylor-Klaus is the latest addition to Arrow's second season. After on-set pictures showing Taylor-Klaus filming scenes with Colton Haynes' Roy Harper (come back next month for our interview with Haynes) appeared online, The CW has confirmed that The Killing actress will be appearing in a recurring role in Arrow season two.
Taylor-Klaus will be playing Sin aka Cynthia Lance, the adoptive daughter of Dinah Lance/Black Canary in the DC New Earth universe. Sin's first appearance in the comics was in 2006, as a young child and martial arts protégé adopted by Dinah after training in a remote mountain village. A coveted figure amongst several of the Green Arrow groups, Sin was in training to become the next Lady Shiva before Black Canary took her under her, er, wing.
Arrow evidently has its own spin on the character, describing Taylor-Klaus' role as "a wayward youth. Sin is befriended by the Black Canary and has a connection with fellow street urchin, Roy Harper." Sin will appear in episodes three and four of the series.
Arrow season two starts on The CW on the 9th of October. Read more about the new characters coming to season two, here.
