Ryan Murphy has revealed a few hints about the forthcoming season of American Horror Story...

As season three rounds to its end, thoughts turn towards American Horror Story's next run. It's set to be Jessica Lange's final appearance as a regular in the anthology series, and will feature a new setting, new characters and new inventively creepy surprises.

A surprise no longer is the period setting of the new season, which Ryan Murphy has announced will be mid-twentieth century. "It's set in 1950. If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there's some more clues in that year. It's a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we've done before. "

How about the geographical setting? There could be a clue in Murphy's next hint, "Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent"

1950 and a German accent hmm? To Wikipedia!
