Almost Human cancelled in US

Fox has pulled the plug on JJ Abrams' Almost Human after one season...

Despite getting a solid response, the TV show Almost Human has been cancelled by Fox. The show, produced by JJ Abrams and J H Wyman, stars Karl Urban and Michael Ealy. It had got off to a strong start in the US ratings last year, and whilst its audience had fallen off, it was still doing decent numbers.

However, the problem seems to be an increasingly packed slate at Fox, led by the Batman prequel series Gotham, and a series of shows that the firm has already renewed (led by Sleepy Hollow, Bones and The Following).

Two more of JJ Abrams' shows, Believe and Revolution, have slightly unclear futures at the moment, with decisions on their fate due in the next two weeks. Person Of Interest, another of his productions, has already received a season four order.

LOL! Now that is irony..

Not irony at all, just unfortunate...

Did an Almost Human marathon, last episode exchange in the car about scanning balls, nearly died. But the point is the you've invested in their relationship until that point so that exchange carries weight and is genuinely funny. Most of the cr*p on TV and this gets cancelled? FFS! Hope it gets brought back, this is a world that needs exploring...plus Minka Kelly pwoaarr!
