Battlestar Galactica season four: the wait's nearly over

One of our most eagerly awaited TV shows of the year has a trasmission date: Battlestar Galactica is coming in April...

It’s been confirmed over in the States that the fourth – and probably final – season of Battlestar Galactica, the one we’ve been waiting over a year for, is set to start screening at the start of April.
The exact transmission date for the show has now been inked in as the 4th April, on the US Sci-Fi Channel. UK details expected shortly.
There’s still some confusion, though, over how the show will actually be broadcast. There are 20 episodes, and rumours persist that these will be broken into two chunks, a la the last season of The Sopranos. And this could mean that the back episodes don’t actually screen until 2009, in a worst case scenario.
Naturally, we’d far prefer a straight run of 20 episodes in one chunk, but the odds on that happening don’t seem that great. Bah.
More news on the potential season split when we find it out. In the interim, at least the thirsting for new episodes is about to be quenched…
