Who is Doctor Who's next companion?

Blimey. We're only just into 2008, and already Doctor Who casting rumours for 2010 are in full flow. Happy New Year!

The fifth season of Doctor Who isn’t even going to hit the screens until 2010, but already the casting rumours have begun. And this time, we’re not talking about who will replace David Tennant in the title role, but instead, who will be traveling around with him.
It’s been reported this morning that two names are in the fray, with a pair of actresses who have already been cast in the fourth season having their monikers touted.
Felicity Jones is one, a 23-year old who will be appearing in the Agatha Christie story early in the fourth season. And the other is Georgia Moffett, also known as the daughter of erstwhile Time Lord Peter Davison, although details of her season four story haven’t been confirmed.
All this, at the moment, is pure tabloid talk, but it fits the current demographic of having a young female as the Doctor’s key companion. ABSO-ready family are a welcome optional extra.
Frazer Hines wouldn’t get a look in, these days…

Is the daughter of one of these men going to be a Doctor Who regular?
