Is series five of Doctor Who taking shape already?
Published on May 27, 2008
Rumours spreading across the Interweb today suggest that one of the first acts of Steven Moffat’s preparation for season five of Doctor Who could be the hiring of a certain Mr Neil Gaiman. According to the excellent Comic Book Resources website, Gaiman has been approached to pen an episode for the series, and while there’s no confirmation forthcoming, it’s an intriguing news snippet nonetheless.
The same piece also reports that Rob Shearman is being invited back to write an episode. Shearman penned Dalek in the first series of the Who revival, but hasn’t been seen near the show since.

And, if you're interested, we briefly interviewed Neil Gaiman last year (here). And we wrote a ready reckoner about him too (here). Hurray.
