London cinema to host Lost marathon

We have the strange feeling that, if we stayed the course, we'd come out of the cinema without any recollection as to who we were or where we lived
Could you sit through all six seasons of Lost? If so, there’s a marathon event on the way that may be perfect for you…

If you're struggling to get over the departure of Lost, there's an event on the way that will allow you to relive the series' best moments all in one gigantic, marathon session.
To commemorate the arrival of the series' DVD and Blu-ray release, a special screening has been arranged that aims to show every single episode - all 121 of them - back-to-back. To save you reaching for a calculator, that's roughly 80 hours of tropical island drama, baffling leaps of logic and smoke monsters.
The event's press release suggests that fans "take part dressed as their favourite characters from the show, armed with their very own survival packs including sleeping bags, pillows and packed lunches," before ominously adding that "paramedics will be on standby."
We love Lost as much as the next geek, but we honestly don't think we'd have the patience, energy or the constitution to sit through approximately four days of Jack, Kate and the strange antics of the Dharma Initiative. We have the feeling that, if we stayed the course, we'd come out of the cinema without any recollection as to who we were or where we lived.
And considering the somewhat divisive final episode, the audience reaction, having sat through 80 hours of weirdness, could be decidedly unpredictable. Those with dedication and cast-iron backsides will be treated to a Lost goodie bag, though, and we're assured that those attending will be free to leave at any time they choose.
The Lost Marathon will take place at The Prince Charles Cinema in London from the 13th to the 16th of September, and doors open at 9:00am. To book your seat, email lostmarathon@taylorherring.com.
Don't forget to pack your Dharma Initiative caffeine pills.
