Re: Outcasts preview images arriveDoes anyone remember a show called something like 'the martian chronicles'? I think that might have had a similar premise and it really creeped me out in an 'Erich von Daniken' kind of way. Cast on this looks promising though.
Re: Outcasts preview images arriveHey, it's Daisy from Being Human on the 4th pic!
Re: Outcasts preview images arriveIt's from Spooks writer Ben Richards with at least Hermione Norris from Spooks, Danny Mays from Ashes to Ashes, Ashley Walters from Hustle and Jamie Bamber from Law & Order: UK perhaps it should be called Kudos and not Outcasts.
Re: Outcasts preview images arriveIt looks as beige and as boring as the planet they're walking on. And with such a list of beige and boring writers behind it, i'm not suprised.
Re: Outcasts preview images arriveWhy don't you go and write something then smarty pants?
Re: Outcasts preview images arriveLooks like a brave commission from the Beeb. While not a huge fan of Ben Richards work on spooks, the cast seems good and I'll be tuning in. I'm not one to discount a series based on 6 photos, beige or not....
Re: Outcasts preview images arriveUnfortunately the BBC has a long record of commissioning good Sci-Fi programs like this, then abandoning them after the first series (e.g. Survivors, Paradox...the list goes on). Heres hoping they stick with it |

Outcasts preview images arrive
Simon Brew
Catch a first glimpse of the BBC’s upcoming science fiction show Outcasts, with these first pictures…
We've got our eyes firmly set on the BBC schedules this autumn to find out when its new, relatively big budget science fiction show, Outcasts, will be heading to our screens.
It's the story of a group of individuals who are given the chance to build a new life on another planet, and across eight episodes, we'll be getting a show that looks like Britain taking a stab at a cross between Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek (the inclusion of BSG's Jamie Bamber in the cast helps with the comparison, certainly).
When the show starts, this group of pioneers will have lost contract with Earth, and all sorts of mysteries will be thrown up. And right now, that's pretty much what we know of the show.
However, a batch of preview images have surfaced in the past day, which don't tell you an awful lot, but we felt were worth passing on. This could yet be the show to watch this autumn, and fingers crossed it delivers...
