SPOILER WARNING: If you've not watched up to the end of season four of Dexter, you don't want to be watching this trailer...

He's not back until September, but given the manner in which Dexter left our screens at the end of season four (an episode we declared the best of 2009), it's fair to say that many of us have been wondering just how the show can go and top it.

We start getting the answers from September 26th, when the show returns to Showtime in the US, but ahead of that there's a full trailer for the return of television's finest serial killer...

This was last years best show, I hope it can keep it up without the legendary John Lithgow...but man, looks like fun.

Not to knock Lithgow as he was brilliant but Dexter managed 3 fantastic seasons before he joined the cast, the show has an amazingly strong cast.

Dexter Season 4 is going to be on the FX channel in the UK Friday nights at 10 from 20 August... Wow Season 5 looks like it'll be as good if not better than 1-4... does anyone else get the feeling that it's starting to head towards it's conclusion?
