Fringe to get third season
Simon Brew
Here’s a pleasant surprise from Fox: it seems that Fringe could well be getting a season three…
Published on Mar 8, 2010
It's a bit of a worrying time if you're a fan of US television sci-fi and fantasy. Dollhouse is gone, Heroes is very vulnerable (and long off the boil), Caprica is struggling, V and FlashForward are 50/50 to get a second season and there are barely any new pilots of interest coming through too (with the exception ABC's No Ordinary Family, which has strong undertones of The Incredibles to it at first glance).
Thank goodness then for Fringe, which has continued to mature through its second season, and we now understand is being lined up for a third. Entertainment Weekly has reported the news, and while the episode count for season three is unclear, we're happy nonetheless.
Fringe is back from 1st April to continue its second season, and then hopefully Chuck will get its increasingly-likely looking fourth season order too.
