A few glimpses of the new series of Doctor Who and Ashes To Ashes emerge in the BBC’s new trailer for its latest season of drama

"I'm looking for love. You got any?"

You have to wade through a bit of Billie Piper in this newly released trailer for the BBC's latest season of drama. But stick with it, and you'll get some glimpses of the final season of Ashes To Ashes - which is due to start in the next month or two - and even a little bit of Doctor Who too right at the end. Plus there's Christopher Eccleston as John Lennon. Bonus.

I noticed Billie Piper did NOT sound as if she were choking on her teeth when speaking, apparently this is just how she plays Rose now, the odd thick lisping accent, is this true? Does anyone know?

I predict the saddest Ashes to Ashes yet. Great Gene Hunt quote but they can't rewrite the rather depressing mid-80's for the Met. Also, Idris Elba = over 9,000 drama points.

To Merry Billie Piper is speaking in a Northern accent...if that's what you were wondering. That's why she sounds so different. Alot of this looks great! I can't wait for it to start.

i am and always will be a fan of Billie and Rose love them both she had some vocal issues in a ep or 2 but i think overall she is brilliant i cant wait to see her being naughty and this trailer had Douglas Henshall what is he in ? loved him as nick cutter and love jenny Lewis. have to say some of the best TV is from the UK give us more

the song is The Cave by Mumford & Sons, if you like the song I can do no more than recommend the whole album.

Mumford and Sons will be one of the bands to make it big in 2010 I reckon. Anyone know a transmission date yet for Ashes to Ashes??

actually it is starting 2nd april 9 pm bbc1 coz i just watched the real trailer and it came up with ashes to ashes the final showdown series is back on good friday (2nd april) 9pm bbc1
