Re: BBC releases Survivors series 2 images Survivors was one of my favourite series from last year. I'm glad to see it back on the screen, especially with the whole Paterson Joseph Who-hah threatening to derail it. I know nothing about what they've got in store but it looks like they'll be going more into the origins of what happened rather than leaving that progression to the last five minutes of each episode like last time.
Re: BBC releases Survivors series 2 images Can't wait for this! Really enjoyed series one, and quite happy to take it as a separate commodity to the 70s series (which was certainly good up to midway through series 2).
Re: BBC releases Survivors series 2 images I enjoyed series 1. I completely missed series 2 though! I saw it scheduled on BBC1 and assumed it was repeats of series 1....
Never mind. That's what I-player is for. |

BBC releases Survivors series 2 images

Get a glimpse of the second series of Survivors right here…
Credit to the BBC for giving us the return of three fine shows at the start of the year for us to get our teeth into. We've already seen the return of Hustle, in mighty fine shape too (here's Mark's review in case you missed it). Then on Sunday was get the second series of Being Human coming to our screen. And next Tuesday, the treats continue as the second series of the BBC's Survivors ‘reimagining' (meaning, in this case, based on the novel rather than the series) hits our screens.
The first series got a bit of a mixed response, but left us sufficiently interested to see what the BBC and executive producer/writer Adrian Hodges have lined up for the second series.
It's screening on 12th January at 9pm, and to celebrate the fact, here's a bunch of images that the Beeb has unleashed into the world...
