Summer Glau's Dollhouse role revealed
Martin Anderson
The ex-terminator returns to Whedon-land, but not as one of the 'blank slates'...
Published on Aug 28, 2009
It was revealed back in May that Sarah Connor Chronicles star Summer Glau was heading for the second season of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, but now it seems that she won't be an 'active' in the show after all.
Instead Glau will play Bennett, an employee at the Dollhouse who seems to know a great deal about the past of Eliza Dushku's Echo.
With a guest spot in Angel and a regular slot in Firefly, Glau is a Whedon favourite, and one wonders if she might not have been a major feature of Dollhouse before now if the sadly-terminated Sarah Connor Chronicles hadn't got in the way.

I'm glad that TSCC did get in the way!! This was a great though provoking series, wrongfully terminated like Firefly. Miss Glau is young and able enough to become a major feature in any other project.

Cropping, now I look at it, may be a bit unfortunate on that pic. Got a kind of 'Silence Of The Lambs' finale thing going on...

TSCCfan - There's no need to despair. Dollhouse became pretty good in the second half of season one.
