Torchwood season 2 guest stars revealed

It's as if the universe heard our plea for more Doctor Who/Torchwood stuff and handed us this on a plate: guess who's going to be in season 2 of Torchwood?

Okay, even I will probably watch some of Torchwood season 2 now. It's just been announced that Buffy the Vampire Slayer's James Marsters and Neighbours/Ugly Betty star Alan Dale are going to be making guest appearances in it!

Is it just me, or is that somehow much more exciting than Kylie being in the Christmas episode of Doctor Who?

James Marsters is reported to have said that "I am a huge fan of Doctor Who and Torchwood so it was me who knocked on their door... I am really excited about the character I am playing. I can't say too much about him, except he is naughty and a bit of a psychopath."

He's not been typecast there at all, then. Hmm. John Barrowman has also commented on Marsters' involvement, using the words "hot", "horny", and "violent" to describe their characters' interactions. Oh my.
