It's got the Doc out of a thousand scrapes (about 980 of which were in the Russell T. Davies era, grrrr), and now Blogtor Who brings us its slightly-tweaked incarnation with some new set pics from the Doctor Who series 5 location shoot.

Can Mr. Matt Smith really be showing disrespect to this hallowed utensil in these pics? Or is he just showing off?

Karen Gillan certainly seems impressed...

just looked at the Blogtor Who pictures - when did the tardis get so shiny??!! Did i miss something? I know it's silly but i just don't like it, it unnerves me

I'm guessing it's shiny because they're shooting in HD, that would also explain the immense amount of makeup Matt Smith seems to be wearing.

not sure about the bow tie but as mattrek said everyone was`nt sure about tennant and look what happened, hopefuly smith will blow us away, roll n the next specials

The folks complaining about Smith's outfit clearly weren't around to experience Colin Baker's clown costume. I love the look because it's reminiscent of Patrick Troughton and show the series is touching on its history. Amy really reminds me of Sally Sparrow in a couple of these photos!
