We're indebted to Collider for this. The remake of the classic TV series The Prisoner is well underway, to the point where a first promo clip for the new take on the show has now been released. There's not too much to it, and you'd not really link it to the original show from what they tell you here.

We suspect that in the run-up to the November debut for the miniseries, they might just be willing to show you a little bit more. For now, this is all we get...

I'm a huge fan of the original. I'd make the link, simply from the title (duh) and the reference to The Village and the phrase "Be seeing you". I love the idea of McKellen as one of the many number 2s and I like Jim Caviezel but he wouldn't have been my first choice for number 6. The setting looks a bit too deserty. I'm still excited.
