We’re off to meet Doctor Who! Any questions for Colin Baker?

Den of Geek's intrepid reporters are occasionally intrepid enough to get up from behind their computer screens and head off to find something new to report on, which is why we'll be getting the early morning train down to London imminently in order to spend a day with the Sixth Doctor and Peri as they record Leviathan by Brian Finch (yes, he of The Tomorrow People, The Brothers and also Coronation Street!) as part of Big Finish's ‘Lost Season' project.

We'll also be interviewing the actors involved, Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant, but because we don't want to steal all of the fun, we're giving you the chance to ask some questions of them, too. We can't promise to ask all of them, but we'll do our best.

Obviously, questions related to the various Big Finish productions would be the most relevant, but we shall be taking the opportunity to ask Colin and Nicola about as many aspects of their time on Who as we can.

So leave your questions in the comment box below!

For Colin: How far did the "lost" season (nightmare fair et al) get along the road to production, and were you looking forward to producing those stories? For Nicola: Were you disappointed with the manner in which Peri was written off the show?

When I listen to Big Finish audios featuring Colin's TV companions, such as Peri, I imagine the Sixth Doctor as he was on TV- young, brash and impudent. When I listen to him with his Big Finish companions, such as Evelyn Smythe, I imagine the Sixth Doctor as Colin is now - older, calmer and wiser. Does Colin deliberately aim portray his character's timeline maturity in his performances, or am I just reading too much in to all this?

If you were offered any part along side Matt Smith, what would you want to play?

Does Colin ever regret not coming back to do the regeneration scene from the 6th to 7th Doctor?

For Colin: Your era was criticised quite a bit which unltimately lead to the cancellation for 18 months and your dismissal from the show. Many fans now agree your Doctor Who run was better than percieved and your Doctor has now come for more acclaim. Would you say your initial plans to make your Doctor likable has come full circle with your successful range of audios which is now effectively completing you unmade third season. Would you say there is some closure? Nicola: A very basic question - were you the lady in the washing detergent advert on tv recently; its been annoying me for ages! Great to see you on TV!

For Colin: it was a while ago now, but I was fortunate enough to pen a Big Finish play for him (the one with the mermaids)! And we signed together at Memorabilia in 2007. He's quite an all-round decent chap to work with! Does Colin feel he'll ever want to write a Big Finish play himself, or is he happy to turn up, read the lines and go home?!

I wish I could have that procedure from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to erase all memories of Colin Baker as the Doctor.

Colin: Does he ever read a Big Finish script and think 'i would love to have done this in live action' ? Which of his Big Finish stories would he recommend to someone coming from nu-who but who loves most 6th doctor serials? Was there an episode or big finish script feat. another doctor he'd have love to have done? Peri/Nichola: Firstly tell her she still looks great! Does she find Big Finish expands/builds on Peri as a character, or tend to write her as a 'stereotype' of how she was in the TV series proper?

for colin: how many pints did it take to do "doctor in distress" and for nichola; would you like to do a "school reunion" type episode where peri returns in the new WHO? is there any story element you'd love to do, if that option was offered?
