The possibility of reunion between Stephen Fry and long time collaborator Hugh Laurie, has been given some indication that it may happen in the future.
Speaking in an interview for the BBC website, Fry was asked for his fondest memories of working within the industry. The author told the BBC that his "deep cherished memories is working with Hugh" and went on to add "We talk a lot about going back and doing things."
Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie wrote and performed in four series of A Bit Of Fry & Laurie from the Eighties through the Nineties whilst also starring together in four series of Jeeves & Wooster until its end in 1993.
The author, director, actor, podcaster and Twitter fanatic added, "It did give us enormous pleasure and continues to give us pleasure when we remind ourselves [of A Bit Of Fry & Laurie]."
Hugh Laurie can currently be seen starring in the medical drama House whilst Stephen is putting the finishing touches to Last Chance To See - a sequel of sorts to Douglas Adams documentary series which tracked down endangered species. It will be broadcast later this year.
