Doctor Who: 5th April start date confirmed

It's nearly here: Doctor Who heads back to our screens in just a couple of weeks. Hurray!

It’s now been officially confirmed that the fourth season of Doctor Who will begin its 13-episode run on Saturday 5th April. This is contrary to original reports – ours included – that it would start a week later.
The first episode, Partners In Crime, will see David Tennant’s Doctor reunited with Catherine Tate’s Donna, at which point the talking about the latter can end, and we get to see if she’ll really measure up. Personally I’m holding back judgement right now.
We’re not sure yet if the series will run in one complete run or, as with last year, if there’ll be a week break in the middle of it. But we’re salivating at another series of one of our favourite shows.
Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica in the same month? You can’t beat April…
