Doctor Who series four start date
When will the fourth season of Doctor Who be hitting British TV screens? It's not too far off now...
Published on Mar 11, 2008
But they’ll have to wait. For it was confirmed previously that the start date of Doctor Who series four was being shunted to April, with the 5th or the 12th the likely kick off points for the show.
Den Of Geek now understands that April 12th is the most likely date to ring in your calendars. The BBC, understandably, is keeping this one close to its chest, not least because this is the last full series of Doctor Who that we’ll get to enjoy until 2010. And we should stress that there's been no hint of an official announcement about this one.
Still, the official announcement one way or another is expected very soon, and we’ll have more news on this as we get it.
Meanwhile, speculation continues over David Tennant’s tenure in the Tardis coming to an end. The latest rumours have him hanging up his sonic screwdriver at Christmas, with Robert Carlyle still the name being banded about the most as a potential replacement. James Nesbitt, meanwhile, has once again ruled himself out of the running.
