Fringe gets full season order

A good show that Fox isn't canning: Fringe gets a full season order...
Published on Oct 2, 2008
On the same day that we’re reporting of the potential threat to the future of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the other show that’s impressed us this season has received much better news. JJ Abrams’ Fringe, after an originally disappointing start, has snared some sizeable ratings, and thus Fox ordered a further nine episodes to be added to the thirteen already planned.
Thus far, the show is the most popular new programme among adults aged 18-49 (a lucrative advertising demographic, as you’d expect), and Fox’s decision paves the way for one of the most interesting shows we’ve seen in ages to fully develop. Hurray.

Fringe is the biz, like X-Files before it took itself too seriously!
