Doctor Who: has Davros been cast?
Simon Brew
The latest news from the upcoming fourth season of Doctor Who! Here!
Published on Feb 20, 2008
* According to reports this morning, the creator of the Daleks will be returning, but it won’t be – as rumoured – Sir Ben Kingsley sitting in the chair. Instead, Julian Bleach, who played the Monster in ITV’s production of Frankenstein, is reported to have landed the role. Davros is expected to appear at the end of the fourth series, in line with Russell T Davies’ pledge to revive a major monster a season.
* Also, the transmission start date for series four is now reported to be April, rather than late March. It's still not been definitely confirmed, but that seems to be the way things are heading.
* Freema Agyeman has been talking about how Martha Jones has moved on since her last appearance in Doctor Who. We’re promised a more professional relationship between the two, with hints of an alternative romance for Martha.
More news as we get it…
