New images from Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time
So just how is Jake Gyllenhaal shaping up as the Prince of Persia?
Next summer sees the latest attempt to make a compelling, entertaining movie out of a videogame. Under the watchful eye of producer Jerry Bruckheimer, whose blockbuster hit rate is far more impressive than most, UbiSoft's Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time has been getting the big screen treatment, with the film now in post-production.
Wielding the megaphone has been Mike Newell, and taking the title role in the film is Jake Gyllenhaal. Sir Ben Kingsley, trying to put memories of the Thunderbirds movie far behind him, is taking on the role of the villain. The cast also featured Gemma Arterton and Doctor Octopus himself, Alfred Molina.
The movie isn't due out until 28th May, but we've got our hands on an array of fresh images, including behind the scenes stills, film shots and promotional art. Click on any of them to make them bigger, and we suspect we'll be getting the first trailer for the film before the year is out.
