The official film of Batkid, aka Miles Scott, the 5-year old who saved San Francisco last November...

Remember last year, the story of how the Make-A-Wish foundation made a very special dream come true for a five-year old named Miles Scott (you can read about it here)? It saw Miles - who has been battling leukemia - playing Batkid, as the city of San Francisco played host to specially staged crimes and was overtaken by villains. Batkid was needed to save the day, and his antics became something of an internet phenomenon (the day ended with Barack Obama recording Miles a special message).

Well, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has now released the official film of Batkid's day, and it's really quite lovely. We thought you might just want to see it.

You can find out more about the work of the Foundation here. And we wish Miles... sorry, Batkid, all the very best. He's welcome to come and save downtown Halesowen any time he likes...
