X-Men: Apocalypse shoot starts April, returning to Canada
The X-Men come back together next April, in advance of the 2016 release for X-Men: Apocalypse...
Work begins this December on the set construction required for 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, and director Bryan Singer will lead his company of mutant characters back to the big screen. Following the huge success of X-Men: Days Of Future Past - by distance the best performing X-Men film at the box office - the new film will explore that tease at the end of the last.
It's been revealed that production is set to begin next April, with the bulk of it contained at the Mel's Cite du Cinema complex, which housed over 30 sets for the last film. Location work is expected in the vicinity too.
We still await casting details of just which mutants are in and out, but we'll keep you posted on those. X-Men: Apocalypse is released in May 2016.
